Peru: Quinoa production growth up by 337%

 Lima, Mar. 16. Quinoa is still displaying an amazing growth in Peru. 
In January, the product registered an "extraordinary expansion of 337%," confirmed the Agriculture and Irrigation Minister, Juan Manuel Benites.

The head of this Ministry, explained quinoa is still the "Andean grain"of "continuous" growth.
In the first month of the year, 7,000 tones were produced.

It means a 337% growth higher than the amount registered during the same period last year.
